"2011 is the Year of Novek Djokovic in Tennis?"

Novak Djokovic remained unbeaten this season by defeating top-ranked Rafael Nadal in the championship match of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 on Sunday (March 20, 2011).
He avenged a loss to Nadal in the 2007 Indian Wells final.
By improving his records to 18-0 in 2011 and earn $611,000, Serbia’s Djokovic, took over the number two world ranking by beating Roger Federer, the 16-time Grand Slam champion, in the semifinals, 4-6,6-3, 6-2, a day earlier.
However, Federer improved his win-loss record this session to 18-3 after a commanding display against Wawrinka, registering his eighth victory over his compatriot in nine meetings.
Nicknamed ‘Nole,’ and a versatile player, the Serb has spent extended periods of time as the No. 3 player in the world, but has never been ranked higher.
He captured his second Australian Open title in January and his 20th ATP title at last month Dubai championships.
The 23-year old Serbian has looked invincible this season and the victory in California desert underlined that.
“I am having the best period in my life on tennis court,” said Djokovic after the two-hour, 25-minute match to capture his second Indian Wells crown.
“I am playing with a lot of confidence. I’m feeling the ball well on the court. I’m very dedicated and I have a big will to win each match. So I will not stop here”.
It is possible to say that 2011 is the year for Djokovic, who has reached the semifinals or better of each Grand Slam.
